Procedure for Registration

  • Registration is done District Wise in the District Offices of Labour Department.

Eligibility:-

  • The person should have completed 90 days of working as a construction worker.
  • Age Between 18 to 60 years of age.

Documents Required:-

  • Certificate of Age:- School Record/ Certificate from the registrar of Birth & Death/ Certificate from a Medical Officer not below the rank of an Assistant Surgeon in Govt. Service/ an affidavit.

  • Certificate of Employment:- Certificate of Employement of 90 days of working from the employer/ contractor concerned in respect of construction worker who are employed. In case of self employed Building & Other Construction Workers trade unions of Construction sectors have been authorised by the board to grant the certificate.                                                                                                                                       In case none of the above is available workers may give self certification in the prescribed form of registration which is duly notarised.

Registration Fee:-First time registration - Rs. 25/- per annum (Rs. 20/- contribution + Rs. 5/- registration charges)
