As per section 12 of  the Main Act, every building worker who has completed 18 years of age, but has  not completed 60 years of age, and who has been engaged in any building or  other construction work for not less than 90 days during the preceding 12 months  is eligible.

Construction workers can get registered by  depositing Rs. 20/- as subscription for one year and Rs.5/- as registration fee  with the duly filled Registration form verified by the contractor, employer or  the registered trade unions connected with the construction sector.

मुख्य अधिनियम की धारा 12 के अनुसार, प्रत्येक भवन निर्माण कर्मी, जिसने 18 वर्ष की आयु पूरी कर ली है, लेकिन 60 वर्ष की आयु पूरी नहीं की है, और जो पूर्वकाल के दौरान 90 दिनों से कम समय के लिए किसी भवन या अन्य निर्माण कार्य में लगा हुआ है। 12 महीने का पात्र है। निर्माण श्रमिक रुपये जमा करके पंजीकरण करवा सकते हैं। 20 / - एक वर्ष के लिए सदस्यता के रूप में और रु .5 / - पंजीकरण शुल्क के रूप में ठेकेदार, नियोक्ता या निर्माण क्षेत्र से जुड़े पंजीकृत ट्रेड यूनियनों द्वारा विधिवत भरे गए पंजीकरण फॉर्म के साथ।
