The Department of Organon of Medicine & Homoeopathic Philosophy of the institute imparts to the students the knowledge of principles involved in homoeopathic treatment as laid down by D r Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of Homoeopathy. The subject is taught in all the four years of the BHMS programme and its application consolidated during internship. The integration of the principles of homoeopathy with the knowledge of allied and other homoeopathic subjects is a must for successful practice in homoeopathy. The daunting task is achieved by conducting tutorials, seminars, interactive classroom teaching &bedside clinical classes giving students freedom of discussion & exchange of views. The students have an access to a well maintained departmental library having books on homoeopathic as well as allied subjects. The department also houses a pictoral library of founder and philosophers in homoeopathy along with the pictures of Indian stalwarts in homoeopathy to inculcate a sense of pride and confidence amongst the students. Charts are available in the department for easy comprehension of some topics in the subject.
