General Rules
  1. Every student must observe rules of the college and general discipline of the college failing which his / her name is liable to be removed from the college rolls.
  2. Any student found guilty of misbehavior, misconduct, disobedience, persistent neglect of studies shall be liable to warning, fine or / and suspension by the Principal.
  3. All complaints, communications regarding the college should be addressed to the Principal.
  4. Every student on admission must get an identity card, which he / she must produce whenever demanded.
  5. Original Certificates will be kept in Office for verification and shall be returned to the student only after first professional examination.
  6. No Society, Union or Association of students shall be formed in the college and no outsider may be invited to address any meeting without prior permission.
  7. Students will be required to wear aprons at their own cost for practical and clinical classes.
  8. Matters not covered by the existing rules will rest with the Principal of college.
  9. Students are advised not to keep valuables in student’s lockers. Every student will be personally responsible for safe custody of his / her goods kept in the lockers.
  10. The authorities reserve the right to make the necessary changes, modifications, alterations or additions or revision of the rules and regulations at any time and such changes will be duly notified.

Note:  It may be noted that the students taking admission in this programme will also be bound to abide by the provisions of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act, 1998 as well as Statues, Ordinances and Regulations framed there under.


  1. As per the University Ordinance, no candidate shall be permitted to appear in any of the examination of the programme unless he/she puts in minimum 80% attendance both in Theory and Practical, before being allowed to appear in the examination.
  2. Absence from class without prior permission of Principal is liable to fine.
  3. Students should not attend classes other than of their class without prior permission of the teacher concerned.
  4. A student absenting from the college for more than 15 consecutive working days is liable to have his / her name removed from the rolls unless the student satisfies the Principal within a week thereafter assigning reasons for absence.
  5. When a fine is imposed on a student for absence without leave or for any reason he / she will be notified. The fine must be paid within a week after notification.
  6. Recommending a student’s application to appear for any University’s examination will depend upon his / her satisfactory progress and required attendance.

Examination Fee

The fee for admission to examination of B.H.M.S Degree Course will be the same as prescribed by the university.


The college library has many books on various subjects and the student may borrow books from the library as per library rules.


Scholarships are available to SC / ST students from Directorate of Education. For detailed information contact academic office.

Pass Marks

The pass marks in all subjects both Homoeopathic and Allied Medical Subject shall be 50% in each part (Written, Practical including Oral) as per the Homoeopathy (Degree Course) Regulation, 1983 (C.C.H.) (amended September 2013).

Medium of Examination and Teaching

The medium of examination and teaching shall be English for the B.H.M.S. course.

Winter and Summer Vacation

The College will remain closed for the summer vacation from May, 8 to July,15 and for winter vacation from December, 23 to January, 26 every year.


The college will observe all the Gazetted holidays notified by the Govt. of National Capital Territory of Delhi. The Principal is authorized to declare maximum of seven holidays in a year in the college for different functions and purposes.

College Hours

College hours will be notified from time to time. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th year B.H.M.S students shall also attend the outdoor / indoor, clinical classes.


Migration from other institutions or colleges will be considered as per GGSIPU and CCH rules.


The office will cater to the needs of the students between 2.00 p.m. to 3.00 p.m. on all working days except Saturday for all academic matters.

DTC and Railway Concession Forms for Students

Application Form for DTC and Railway concession should be submitted 3 days in advance so that they may be examined, prepared and certified.

Refund of Fee / Caution Money

Student who passes out after completion of internship can claim the refund of caution money within one year from the date of passing, failing which no application will be entertained except in special circumstances beyond the control of the candidates. At the time of refund of money a candidate will be required to produce a ‘No Dues Certificate’ in prescribed performa available with the Academic Assistant. Caution money shall be refunded only after completion of BHMS Course. No Refund of any fee etc. is made if candidate withdraws / leaves the institution without completing the course of BHMS.


Academic Certificates, like certificate of Internship completion, House job, Registrarship etc. shall be issued after the receipt of ‘No Dues Certificate’.


Rules in terms of ordinance relating to maintenance of discipline amongst students of this college are as under:

  1. Ragging in any form shall be strictly prohibited within the premises of the University, a college or an institute, as the case may be, or in any part of the University system as well as on public transport, or at any other place, public or private;
  2. Any individual or collective act or practice of ragging shall constitute an act of gross indiscipline and shall be dealt with under the provisions of ordinance under reference;
  3. Ragging, for the purposes of ordinance under reference, shall ordinarily mean any act, conduct of practice by which the dominant power or status of senior students is brought to bear upon the students who are in any way considered junior or inferior by the former and includes individual or collective acts or practices which
    1. Involve physical assault or threat to use physical force;
    2. Violate the status, dignity and honour of students, in particular female student and those belonging to a Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe;
    3. Expose students to ridicule or contempt or commit and act which may lower the self-esteem; and
    4. Entail verbal abuse, mental or physical torture, aggression, corporal punishment, harassment, trauma, indecent gesture and obscene behaviour.

Note: The applicant is required to submit an undertaking to the effect that he/she is aware of the institution’s approach towards ragging and the punishment to which he/she shall be liable if found guilty of ragging. A similar undertaking shall be obtained from the parent/guardian of the applicant.
